SAG awards

Hello readers, today I am writing about "SAG" awards. It is a screen actor awards. There were a lot of good looks and a lot of bad looks, I am going to list some of my favorite and my least favorite looks. One of my favorite looks was worn by Claire Foy in Valentino and Tiffany & Co. jewelry. The dress is beautiful, it is intelligent, and simple. I love how it has little floral patterns and it has a little pop of color underneath that matches with the collar. I would wear it.

While looking through the garments I noticed some trends, such as: plain colors, floral patterns, lacy, and tight dresses. My least favorite garment was worn by Emily Blunt in Roberto Cavalli Couture dress and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. I just think the colors are ugly, and they don't suit the actress, I don't think it's put together well and the design is not my cup of tea, overall I did not like this dress, It was simple yet messy, the colors made it look dirty. But that is all I have for today, thank you for reading.

Toilet paper dresses

Picture 1
Hello readers, today I am going to write about toilet paper dresses that we made in our fashion design class. For this project we had toilet paper rolls, and a manikin. The whole group participated and we did our best. We all combined our ideas and created a unique wedding dress.
We started off with the top, using a small square of the paper and twisting it giving it texture an curved lines, as seen in picture 1. We continued to do that through out the top of the dress. The dress has a deep v in the from with ruffles on the inside edges. My group had trouble making the bottom of the dress unique ans interesting as shown in picture 3. Our idea was to make it a mermaid bottom but it looked funny, so with the help of out instructor we decided to make the skirt of the dress twisting with diagonal lines, which gives the illusion of slenderness. For the very bottom of the dress we crumbled the paper into balls then layed the long part down as shown in the last video.
Our dress is short, it only goes to the shins. Any type of body can wear this dress. For slender people the dress would fit great, and for bigger people the dress would fit great too due to the lines in the skirt, like I said before it gives the illusion that you are skinnier as shown in picture 2.

this is a drawing of what the dress looks like.

Personally I enjoyed working on this, it was a group effort and I think we succeeded. Above there are some more pictures and videos.

Color in fashion

Image from "keoneulaes.org"
Hello readers today I am writing about color in garments. I think that it is important to have some color in a garment. Color can compliment and just make the garment look ten times better. There can be different colors, like bright colors, dim colors, pale colors, pastel colors, and more. Personally I love colors, but sometimes bright and vivid colors don't go with each other so it is hard to pick out an outfit with those colors. So many people just go for black, white or gray mostly because they go with everything. Colors make the garment pop and it draws eyes to the piece. I think that colors are so fun and important to have in a garment, because with out them life would just be boring gray. Well that's what I think of colors. Thank you for reading, have a colorful day, bye!

Norms

Hello readers today I am writing about "norms". Norms are something that is usual, typical or standard. Norms are important. Norms and standards in management are binding rules, requirements, or standards of conduct of people in processes or requirements for products quality. They represent a common agreement about the characteristics of products- goods and services- the processes and human behavior in order to ensure or harmonize their same characteristics. Same behavior and same method management. These are important because without them the business would be a disaster. With no rules there are no limits so everyone would do what they want, and therefore the place would be a mess. Without group norms, individuals would have no understanding of how to act in social situations. Well that is all I have for today. Thank you for reading, bye.

Sustainable fashion

Hello readers, today I am writing about "sustainable fashion". It is also called eco fashion, it is a part of the growing design philosophy and trend of sustainability, the goal of which is to create a system. Most people agree that our modern society has to develop in more sustainable ways. This includes how we produce and consume clothing, shoes, accessories and other textiles. The main responsibility of fashion companies is obviously to change their production, and marketing towards greater sustainability. As we are working on our own projects we are recycling old clothes and making something new, instead of just throwing them out. Sustainable fashion is also great for nature. I think that there should be more sustainable fashion in our society today. Many people through things out after they get small or old, but why do that when you can make something ordinary into something extraordinary and unique. Hard work is the key. Well that is all I have for today. Thank you for reading, bye.

Drawing faces

Hello readers to day I will be writing about drawing faces. This task can be very difficult, especially for beginners. Personally I am really bad at drawing. But this might help. First of all faces are the basic part of human body. In a portrait or artwork they are the main focal point, so each line has a significant effect on what mood is portrayed. The first thing you need to do is make an outline of a face, which is an oval shape. Then add dividing lines to map the proportions. Add a nose, mouth, eyes, eyebrows, and then go into detail. When it comes to drawing a human body it is difficult to have all the proportions correct and look like a human, therefore we have to be detailed and patient. When I draw a human I often get irritated because I couldn't get the eyes proportional or the hands, so it is really important to be patient and practice a lot. Well that is all I have for today. Thank you for reading have a great day, bye.

Hello readers. In the past few years Ukrainian fashion designers have emerged on the global stage. Anna October launched her eponymous brand at 19. Today she is 27, she says her clothes are for "girls who act like ladies with elegance and a hint of craziness". Her style is gentle and soft. I like her style because I like gently colors I like soft colors and she delivers that. Toni Maticevcki is a Melbourne-based fashion designer. He studied fashion at RMIT university. After graduating he won a fashion group international award, resulting in placement in New York. He left for Pairs to work two seasons at Cerruti then returned to Melbourne to launch his own label. In 2002 he won Best New Designer. His color scheme is earthy, simple and pretty. But that is all I have for today thank you for reading bye.
