Hello readers, I can't believe the year is almost over, wow. I am going to write about our own fashion show. It was a cool experience, I've never done or been in a fashion show before so it was interesting, and of course nerve racking. Over all the show got a positive feed back from the viewers. Everyone who participated in the show had worked extremely hard to make the collections happen. Each collection told a story and was beautiful. The avante-garde look were personally my favorite. They were unique and super interesting. i though over all this experience was a learning process. I learn more about team work and that time is very valuable. I loved getting compliments after the show because it showed that people appreciate our hard work. That is all I have for today, thank you for reading. Remember be kind to others, bye.

Hello readers, today I am going to write about a Japanese fashion label "Comme Des Garcons". It is a french word for "Like some boys". It is founded in 1969, and is a private company. It's located in Tokyo, Japan. Rei Kawakubo is the founder and designer. The label started in Tokyo and established as a company Comme des Garcons in 1973. Throughout the 1980's Comme des Garcons clothes often were associated with a 'distresses' and 'pink' oriented style. This is such a unique and aesthetic style, it is very abstract and unusual. People who design this type of style have crazy imagination. Personally I am not really into this style but I still think that it's amazing what the designers can do. I don't have much to say, so I'm just gonna end, I think that this blog was short and to the point. I hope you enjoyed, thank you for reading. Remember to be kind to others, bye.

Hello readers, today I am writing about manufactured fibers. Manufactured fibers surround you. They are in clothes, on furniture, at school, and in cars. They cal be as small as a spider's web or as large as ropes that moor an ocean vessel. That's crazy. Rayon was the first commercially produced fiber. Cellulosic fibers are from plant life and synthetic are from chemicals. There are three steps to manufacture fibers: 1) The raw material is changed to liquid. 2) The liquid is pushed through a spinneret, which is shown in image 1. 3) The liquid hardens in the form of a fiber. I have one more thing to share. Elastoester is a fiber that is similar to polyester and stretchy like spandex. It is less susceptible to chlorine damage, and retains dyes. That is all I have for today, thank you for reading. remember be kind to others, bye.

Goals

Hello readers today I am going to write about goals. Goals can be big or small. Goals are something that a person sets and tries to complete it. People can have personal goals, or group goals. The goal of the goal is to complete the goal, if that made sense. I have personal goals, and so do others. I have long-term and short-term goals. Goals are important because it keeps the person on task. Setting goals gives one motivation. For example the greatest athletes don't just become great, they set goals and meet them, and then set new ones. Goals teach one commitment and planning skills. I think that goals are unrestricted, meaning one can set a goal for anything they want, and they can do anything they want as long at they are fully committed they will succeed. That is all I have for today, short and sweet. Thank you so much for reading, remember be kind to others, bye.

Fibers

Hello readers, today I am going to write about fibers. Fibers make yarn and yarn makes fabric. Fibers can be thinner than your hair, and can be microscopic. In other words fiber is the foundation of fabric a small, hair-like substance. There are two protein fibers, one is wool and the other is silk. Wool makes lanolin oil which is used in cosmetics, shampoo and ointment, although some people may be allergic. Wool is also a warm fiber. Someone might wear a wool coat during the winter to keep themselves warm. Silk is also a protein fiber, it comes from a silk worm. The warm can eat three different kinds of leaves: oak, cherry or mulberry leaves. If someone wants a really good quality silk they would have the worm on a mulberry diet. Later the worm leaves a cocoon with tiny fibers, sadly people have to boil and kill the worm because the worm can break through the cocoon and ruin the silk fibers. Cotton is a plant fiber, which comes from a seed. Cotton keeps you cool because it is absorbent, it also shrinks. Most people know that the reason why we need to wash and preshrink cotton fabric, because if not done so when the garment is made it will not fit the model because it will shrink in the wash. Linen is also related to fibers above, it is absorbent and breathable unfortunately linen wrinkles a lot. Linen comes from stem, which is also a plant fiber like cotton is. All of the fibers listed above are called natural fibers. That is all I have for today, thank you so much for reading, I know it's more than I usually write, but I hope someone learned something or even reviewed. Remember be kind to others, bye.

DENIM

Hello readers today I am going to write about denim. Denim has been pretty popular lately, and has been for a while. Today embroidered jeans and jean jackets are starting to be popular. Personally I love denim, I think that it looks good and is in style. Skirts, jeans, jackets, overalls, tops, all of these are popular in jean. I think that most things in jean material are stylish, although sometimes it does feel uncomfortable. I think that denim is a classic because it never really truly goes out of style and stays in fashion forever. My favorite trend from all the ones there is, is embroidery. Basically anything embroidered I love, I think that it is beautiful and makes the garment even better. If there is something missing from a garment, just add embroidery. I have been looking for embroidered jeans, so that is definitely on my shopping list. I do like cheap clothes but I also like good quality clothes, and it hard to find good cheap jeans. Anything under 30 I think should be good. I also think that any unwanted items from family members or people could work, we could just thrift them. Anyways, that is all I have for today. Thank you for reading, remember be kind to others, bye.

Critical Thinking

Hello readers today I am going to write about critical thinking. According to Wikipedia, critical thinking is the objective analysis of fact to form a judgement. Critical thinking is very important because that is what makes the objective better. Someone with critical thinking skills is able to understand the logic connections between ideas. Different ideas can come and go. Even in stressful situations, critical thinkers can rely on their logical decision making skills. Using logic to help you sort through life's challenges can be extremely helpful. This is important in the fashion industry because designers must make logical decisions. That is all I have for today. Thank you for reading. Remember be kind to others, bye.
